My approach to counseling

Drawing from a variety of family therapy models, I generally work from a systems perspective. This means therapy will include consideration of the many social, cultural, and spiritual influences impacting you, your family and your relationships. I work in both brief and longer-term perspectives, drawing from solution-focused and family systems theories and techniques.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and have found that these can be especially effective. The specific therapy approach that I use will vary, based on my clients’ needs and goals.

Individual adults and teens
